I am Sigrid Marz and I care about people realizing their potential in order to serve with their talents in this world. I have changed professions moving from executive search to coaching when realizing that too often executives focus on changing jobs when other personal and professional transitions are actually at stake.
Do you and/or your organization have an interest in working on realizing potential for the sake of transforming human activity to serve the challenges of our current times, ecological, economic, societal or human? In the way I have taken care of professional transition of executives in the executive search context, I am today committed to coaching anybody interested in their adult learning journey. In my eyes, the work that this involves represents a conflict of interest with executive search, which therefore I no longer engage in. If you are interested, lets discuss.
Looking at the balance sheet
After a career start in strategy consulting, I have developed my competencies in the art of questioning as well as in relationship management with top management, as a Partner working for two global executive search firms. During these years I developed a profound interest in business and the human being when it is confronted with important decisions and responsibilities. Wanting to follow this interest down to its roots that lie with our European philosophical and Christian spiritual traditions, I took a sabbatical to study philosophy and theology. After certification in coaching at Newfield Network and ICF, I apply today all of the above and my initial academic education in European business administration and European Studies to ontological coaching.
Looking forward
With my knowledge of business and the human being’s desire for achievement and meaning, I truly believe today in the integral development of the human being through work. I also believe that Europe, and its economic roots of Christian Social Thinking has a contribution to make in times where we need both, innovation and performance and solidarity and justice. For the foreseeable future, I will work, as a coach, to contribute to business as a noble vocation that wants to generate good wealth with good products and good work and for all. Good business is done by superior athletes that choose a race where they can win and choose to share the gain with others. Being trilingual, I can do this in English, French and German.
